He’s not just a friendship expert, he’s a well rounded human being with a series of career twists and turns! After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Matt Ritter worked at one of the world's biggest law firms before leaving to pursue a career in entertainment. Matt was featured on the 2019 Blacklist for his script DOLL WARS. He directed his first documentary "Tasteless", and released his latest standup album, which debuted at #1 on iTunes. Matt co-created the acclaimed MSNBC series “Chained to My Ex” and has sold scripted projects to Comedy Central and E! He is an on-camera host of multiple shows on Afterbuzz TV, was the host of Wondery's podcast "Safe For Work" and currently Matt hosts the #1 friendship podcast in the country, MAN OF THE YEAR which has been featured on the TODAY Show, NPR, the NY Times, and The Netflix is a Joke Festival. Matt was recently hired as a screenwriter to work on BREWSTER’S MILLIONS for H2L Media, 100 THINGS for Matthias Schweighofer, and is currently writing an action feature for Chad Stahelski (John Wick), and a heist film for Simon West, (Con Air and the Expendables) and an action comedy starring Anna Faris.
